We are AAHA Accredited!
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE
The American Animal Hospital Association ("AAHA") was founded in 1933 and is the only association in North America that provides accreditation to companion animal hospitals. To be accredited by AAHA, our hospital must demonstrate an exceptional level of medical care and client service, and be measured against the most rigorous standards in the veterinary industry. Only 15% of animal hospitals in the United States and Canada are AAHA accredited, and we have been one of them for over 55 years!
The AAHA Standards of Accreditation are used as benchmarks to measure excellence in veterinary medicine. Our hospital has been successfully evaluated by an outside consultant on over 900 standards that directly correlate to the care we provide your pet. To maintain our accredited status and to make sure we are keeping up with industry updates, we are evaluated every three years.
Accreditation for human hospitals is required, but is voluntary for animal hospitals. We've chosen to voluntarily go through the process because we understand that your pet holds a valued place in your life and in your heart, and their health is important to us.
Choosing an AAHA accredited hospital for your pet's medical care provides you with peace of mind because you'll know that the hospital you've selected has the team, training, equipment, medical procedures and facilities that AAHA believes are important for the delivery of high-quality veterinary care.
Thank you for trusting us with the care of your pet.
